- Provides the following programs and community support services for individuals to enable them to remain in their own homes as long as possible:
- Adult Day Program
- Congregate Meal Program
- Home Help and Home Maintenance
- Lifeline
- Meals on Wheels
- Supportive Housing
- Transportation
- Pinecrest Home, Kenora
- Princess Court, Dryden
- Northwood Lodge, Red Lake
- Sioux Lookout Branch Office
- Relies on volunteer assistance to enable many of the programs to be carried out
- Encourages individuals to volunteer any amount of time for the Adult Day Program, Congregate Dining, Meals on Wheels and Transportation
- Eligibility
- Individuals 18 years of age and older with specific needs such as disability, illness or injury that require assistance or seniors 65 years of age and older
- Residency Requirements: Surrounding area within a 10-mile radius of the city of Kenora
- Application Process
- Registration required for all programs
- Completed application required for Adult Day Program and Supportive Housing through Home and Community Care Support Services North West
