  • Operates as a support group of people who have low vision or who are blind, along with some sighted volunteers
  • Addresses the social aspects of blindness and vision loss
  • Acts as an advocate for the people with vision loss
  • Invites guest speakers for various topics including guest speakers from community agencies to share what they offer for people with disabilities
  • Organizes social outings in the community
  • Get together with Technology teleconference tips and tricks for people living with vision loss meeting once a month
