Description
Offers workshops and individual counselling to assist individuals in the following areas:
  • decision making
  • managing adversity
  • problem solving more effectively
  • communicating needs with loved ones, landlords and employers
  • employment search
Program is available in larger groups at John Howard, or in smaller groups where clients may live or frequent, depending on need
Hours of Operation
Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm
Eligibility
Individuals with one or more of the following behaviours:
  • low levels of confidence and self esteem
  • anger management problems
  • poor/no work experience history
  • poor communication/people skills
  • poor time management skills
  • inability to follow through with plans
  • poor decision making/problem solving skills
  • anti social attitudes and beliefs
  • pro criminal attitudes and beliefs
