- Provides diagnosis, care and treatment for stroke victims
- Coordinates telemedicine services
- Eligibility
- Individuals who have had signs and symptoms of a recent stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), or who are at risk of having a stroke or TIA
- Application Process
- Walk in to emergency department if experiencing any signs of stroke
- Referral required from emergency room doctor, a family physician, or other medical/nursing specialist to attend stroke prevention clinic
