Description
Provides programs and services that support and enhance young children and their families
  • Offers weekly swimming sessions
  • Provides lunch and social time for parents and children at the centre after swim
  • Provides child care for all programs
Car Seat Program
  • Offers child car restraint inspections by certified technicians
  • Hosts periodic car seat clinics
In the Kitchen with Friends
  • Parents are invited to a live cooking class where they get to take a meal home to their families (Child care is provided)
Baby Food Making
  • A live classe offered once a month
  • Parents can learn how to make homemade baby food and are given some to take home
Family Night
  • Takes place once a month
  • Families are invited to a dinner and bonfire
Swim and Lunch
  • Parents can go swimming with their children and then have a hot lunch afterwards
Bosom Buddies
  • Offers a variety of children's activities such as rhymes, songs and support
  • Provides a snack
Nature Tots
  • Provides group sessions on various nature topics
  • Provides a lunch to participants
Parenting Classes
  • Provides group educational sessions on various related topics
  • Offers a culturally sensitive Native parenting class
