Description
  • Investigates claims for financial compensation in accordance with Section 24 of the Livestock, Poultry and Honey Bee Protection Act
  • Determines the type of predator responsible when livestock or poultry have been killed or injured by a wolf or a dog other than the owner's dog
  • Inspects fences to ensure compliance
Eligibility
Must possess a valid Farm Business Registration number
Application Process
  • Claimants must immediately report their findings to the livestock valuer in order to qualify for compensation under the Act
  • Claimants must provide a Premises ID number and a valid Farm Business Registration number for the Valuer's report
