- Acts as the lead in developing the community land code document which contains the basic land laws of the Anishinaabeg of Naongashiing
- Administered by a team which consists of a Land Management Coordinator and Land Code Committee who consult regularly with community members
- Land Code allows community to assert law-making power, control and protect the reserve land and resources, and to opt-out of the 34 land related sections in the Indian Act
