Description
Employment Ontario Partner provides Literacy and Basic Skills training to the Rainy River District including numeracy, digital technology, communication and interpersonal skills to help learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence

Provides the following services:
  • Workplace Training which includes an Introduction to Administration and Introduction to Food Service Attendant
  • Individualized training plans to support employment goals
  • One on one assistance and tutoring
  • Individualized support for Education and Apprenticeship goals
  • Access to computers and training
Comments
  • Learners can register on site or online at www.vala.ca
  • Walk-ins always welcome
  • Learners will be asked to fill out a Participant Registration Form and Intake Assessment
  • Office open during the noon hour
  • Must be an Ontario resident

Eligibility
Must be an Ontario resident 19 years and older with reading, writing and math skills below OALCF level 3
