Description
  • Provides for the safety, security and protection of First Nation communities through the provision of culturally sensitive, proactive, professional unbiased enforcement strategies
  • Encourages community involvement, public education and transparent accountability
  • Supports victims of crime
  • Commits to the protection of the inherent rights and freedom
  • Processes Criminal Record Checks, Police Records Checks and Vulnerable Sector Checks for individuals residing within the UCCM jurisdiction
  • Collaborates with the Ontario Provincial Police through an Operational Agreement to enhance the level of services offered
  • Facilitates bicycle safety programs in schools and communities upon request
Serves a collective population of approximately 2000 people; numbers increase during summer months with the influx of seasonal residents
