Description
  • Provides support to the Manitoulin Youth Justice Services for Indigenous youth on probation, conditional supervision or community supervision
  • Assists the Youth Case Manager by helping the youth on probation to fulfill the requirements of the Probation order or as directed by the Probation officer
  • Promotes and encourages the youth to choose a healthier lifestyle
Provides support in the following areas:
  • Anger management
  • Community service hours
  • Mentorship
  • Re-integration support
  • School support

Eligibility
  • Indigenous youth between 12-17 years of age at time of offence
  • Must belong to one of the member First Nations within the United Chiefs & Councils of Mnidoo Mnising Territory or Wikwemikong First Nation and
  • Have been found guilty and currently on Probation, conditional supervision or community supervision
