Description
  • Promotes the health and nutrition of pregnant women, new mothers and their babies
  • Provides emergency medical assistance to pregnant Aboriginal women of community if required

Offers a range of services including:
  • Breast feeding education
  • Individual and group support
  • Healthy pregnancy nutrition workshops
  • Food vouchers and vitamin supplements to participants
  • Home visits
  • Referrals to other service providers

Eligibility
  • Members of Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory who are pregnant, new mothers or with infants under 12 months of age
  • Vitamin supplements, milk and food vouchers are only available to women enrolled in the program
