Traditional Medicine Program


Description
  • Provides traditional teachings and workshops for individuals and families to meet specific life's needs in areas such as pre/postnatal, parenting, children and adolescent, adult life skills, elder care and holistic health promotion
  • Provides traditional healing services through Traditional Healers, cultural ceremonies and herbal prescriptions
  • Coordinates the healing services on an individual or community request
Services include:
  • Case management
  • Filling of herbal prescriptions
  • Supportive counselling
  • Referrals to Traditional Healers and other health care providers
  • Follow-up appointments
