Operates an on-reserve school for elementary and junior high school students from the community
  • Offers a full curriculum for students from SK-Grade 10
  • Teaches Native language as a subject course and promotes a sense of pride of heritage
  • Provides supervised extra-curricular activities
  • Offers cultural activities and traditional Native teaching as part of regular programs
  • Participates in the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) Canada Program which provides laptops and tablets to each child aged 6-12 years in the school as a learning tool
  • Operates on a culturally sensitive schedule that allows students to participate in the spring and fall hunts with their families
Special Education
  • Provides special education assistance for students with learning difficulties
  • Strives for maximum amount of integration with regular programs
