- Administered by Windigo Education Authority (WEA) who acts in an advisory capacity
- Offers a full curriculum for students from Junior Kindergarten (JK) to Grade 8; approved and inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education
- Provides a special education teacher
- Teaches Oji-Cree language as a subject course
- Provides a daily breakfast program for students
- Offers a school gymnasium and library
- Promotes and supervises cultural and traditional outings such as fishing, hunting, trapping and participates in an annual hunting festival in September
