Shibogama First Nations Council
Administration and Finance

Enhances member community's management and administration by delivering financial, management and governance advisory services and support
  • Advises on all aspects of financial management duties and budget control
  • Facilitates payroll and bank reconciliations
  • Provides support for preparation of funding proposals for various community initiatives
  • Maintains resources on management practices, policies and procedures and governance codes, available for community use upon request
  • Provides accounting support and oversees financial policies and procedures for the Shibogama First Nations Council

Provides advisory services for community administrative and finance personnel in following areas:
  • Audit preparation
  • Computerized accounting and bookkeeping
  • Financial planning
  • Internal reporting and payroll
  • Policy development
  • Shibogama First Nations Council is a member of the Political Territorial Organization of Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)
  • All member communities belong to Treaty #9
Must belong to one of the member First Nations within the Shibogama First Nations Council territory
