- Provides an urban Anishinaabe immersion First Nation elementary school
- Governed by the Kiizhik Education Corporation
- Offers a full curriculum for students from JK to Grade 7; approved and inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education
- Provides instruction in literacy and numeracy in English and all other programs in Anishinaabemowin (Ojibway language)
- Offers cultural and traditional teachings
- Offers a school gymnasium, cafeteria, library, and computer room
- Provides special education assistance for students with learning difficulties
- Develops an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for each student with annual reviews

- Students 4 years of age and older who are members of any of the Kenora area First Nations either living on-reserve or in the city of Kenora; non-Indigenous students are welcome
