Description
Oversees initiatives which focus on learning and preserving the traditional Anishinaabe language and culture including:
  • Completion of a book of short stories in Anishinaabemowin shared by the communities Bimose serves
  • Training for Bimose Native Language Teachers
  • Creation of Anishinaabemowin resources and curriculum for teachers and students
  • Videos of several land-based, traditional activities such as birch bark gathering, snow shoe making, ice fishing, deer hide tanning and making tikinaagans

Must belong to one of the member First Nations in the Bimose Tribal Council territory
