Description
Provides assistance and resources for both those with epilepsy and those with acquired brain injuries (ABI)

New Beginnings

Provides a weekly day program that assists with learning activities such as cooking, how to use computers crafts, games, a walking program and other social, recreational and therapeutic services

Peer Mentoring

Connects individuals whose lived experience helps another person currently coping with a similar event or issue and is in need of support
  • Program is abailable to survivors, family members and/or unpaid caregivers
Support Groups 
  • Discusses a variety of topics in group settings
  • Offers a Men's Support Group (virtually), Caregiver Support, and Epilepsy Support Groups
Topic can include:
  • Depression
  • Fatigue
  • Relationships
  • Other areas of interest identified by group

Eligibility
Individuals aged 16 years and older that are suffering from epilepsy (seizures) and/or have an acquired brain injury
