  • Provides early intervention services to families of children who have been diagnosed with, or are at risk of having, a developmental delay
  • Provides screening, assessment, and intervention
  • Offers supportive counselling, case management, and information and resources
  • Supports the child's transition from childcare to school
  • Provides resource materials, equipment, toys and books
  • Services are free of charge

Most services are provided in the home of the family or guardian, but services can also be provided through agencies including childcare centres and Best Start Hubs

Age Requirements: Ages: 5 year(s) and under;
Application Process
  • Referrals are required and can be made by a parent or by a physician, public health nurse, neonatal nursery, or a community agency as long as it is made with parental consent
  • Referrals are accepted at the Children's Community Network at 1-877-272-4336
