- Description
- Supports individuals with developmental disabilities by helping them find and participate in meaningful activities
- Offers a variety of daytime activities throughout the week that include learning workshops, training, and coaching
- Determines each person's needs and interests to help them achieve their goals and develop independence
- life skills development, such as cooking, meal planning, grocery shopping, budgeting, and household cleaning and laundry
- employment skills, such as resume writing, job searching and coaching
- health, safety, and wellness
- volunteer opportunities
- educational sessions
- recreational and social activities, such as games, community outings, music, and creative arts
- Eligibility
- The individual must:
- Be 18 years of age or older;
- Have a developmental disability with supporting documentation; and
- Reside within the geographical boundaries of the Mattawa-Bonfield catchment area
- Be 18 years of age or older;
