- Description
- Provides foster parents to children and youth who are in need of a safe place
- Recruits individuals and couples who are interested in fostering a child/youth
- Completes a mandatory home safety inspection and provides a 9-week pre-service training program to foster applicants
- Educates foster applicants about the role and expectations of fostering a child/youth
- Assigns a foster care worker who provides ongoing support to the foster family
- Eligibility
- Individuals and couples interested in fostering a child/youth between the ages of 0-21 years
