Adult Essential Skills Programs

Search Agency Service

Offers programs and services to assist individuals to develop the essential skills to achieve greater employability through further education
  • Provides literacy, numeracy and essential skills services including computer instruction
  • Offers support in clarifying and upgrading goals
  • Develops training plan to achieve goals
  • Provides academic upgrading services to help individuals develop the necessary skills for entry into college based post secondary education and training programs (such as apprenticeship)
  • Offers General Educational Development (GED) preparation
  • Assists with transportation and child care funding if required
Also coordinates Children's Programs including:
  • Tutoring Services
  • Homework Club
Hours of Operation
9 am - 3:30 pm
9 am - 8 pm
9 am - 330 pm

Mon 9 am-3:30 pm * Tue 9 am-3:30, 6 pm-8 pm * Wed 9 am-3:30 pm
  • Individuals requiring upgrading of skills
  • Individuals who are out of school
  • Special emphasis on individuals receiving social assistance through Ontario Works
