Description
Provides services to assist Aboriginal individuals who are struggling with homelessness issues
Offers the following services:
Drop-In Centre
  • Offers an environment during regular hours for individuals to socialize, receive peer support and guidance with life issues
  • Provides supportive counselling and referrals to other services
Meal Support
  • Aims to ease hunger through the provision of supplementary food including a weekly soup kitchen, snacks and/or occasional meals at the drop-in centre, and a one-time emergency food basket
  • Provides outreach meals within the community as the need arises
Emergency Discretionary Fund
  • May provide discretionary funding for needs such as transportation to a shelter, purchase of identification, hygiene kits and food baskets
  • Offered only based on case-by-case assessment and availability of funds
Hours of Operation
Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm
Eligibility
Urban Aboriginal individuals and families who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness
