Description
Provides an adult education learning program
  • Facilitates upgrading courses designed for adults who have not completed their high school education
  • Participates in Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR), a systematic process to identify, self-assess, organize, describe and document one's knowledge, skills and attitudes that have been acquired over one's lifetime through formal education, workplace training and other life experiences such as volunteer and military work

Services include but are not limited to:
  • Literacy skills
  • Basic office program learning

  • Members of Wasauksing First Nation and First Nation adults in Parry Sound area
  • Primarily serves adult learners wanting to improve their literacy and numeracy skills to achieve goals of further education and training, employment or increased independence and those wishing to obtain their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
