Description
  • A national, community-based organization of volunteers
  • Funds research for all types of cancer
  • Offers information on cancer risk, prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and supportive care
  • Provides support for people living with cancer, family members and friends
  • Connects individuals with a survivor or caregiver to discuss what it's like to live with cancer
  • Provides transportation assistance to and from cancer related appointments
  • Loans wigs and/or turbans free of charge to cancer patients
  • Provides support from a trained quit smoking specialist
Wheels of Hope Transportation Program
  • Provides transportation assistance to clients who must travel either to their local or out-of-town cancer-related appointments
