Community Programs


Description
  • Provides outreach services to those who are homeless or at risk of being homeless
  • Distributes blankets, clothing and supplies
Direct client services include:
  • Health support
  • Immediate first aid
  • Referral to community resources
  • Suicide intervention
  • Transportation to essential services such as emergency care, crisis prevention and intervention
Comments
  • Distribution of blankets and clothing are on Monday and Thursdays from 7 pm-8 pm, at the Corner Clinic located at 344 Elgin Street, Sudbury
  • The workers are easily identifiable by their bright red jackets and t-shirts labelled OUTREACH WORKER
