Description
  • Helps Indigenous students make the successful transition to college and provides them with ongoing support throughout their college years
  • Works with First Nation communities and organizations to identify, develop and deliver community-based programs

On-campus services include:

  • Assists in the recruitment of First Nation students
  • Delivers programs in First Nations communities through partnership agreements with First Nations and Indigenous education institutes

Enaadmaaget
  • Provides student financial support, scholarships bursaries and/or employment support
  • Maintains an active liaison with First Nations Band Education offices and Native community organizations

Minomaadizwin Enaadmaaget
  • Helps to establish a safe, supportive, and customary holistic environment for students
  • Helps to promote the understanding of Indigenous culture and people through housing a sacred space for cross-cultural awareness
  • Supports students through programs and activities such as the Elders on campus, meditation, and storytelling
