- Works in partnership with Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Dietitians, Social Workers and collaboratively with Physicians
Offers a variety of health care services including:- Counselling and education
- Diagnosing and treating illness and/or injuries
- Home visits as needed
- Immunization clinics
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Performing physical check-ups
- Referrals to family physicians, specialists and other health professionals
- Supportive care through illness
- Treatments and/or procedures
- Well baby/prenatal care
- Writing prescriptions
- Eligibility
- Must be a registered patient at the Capreol NPLC to book appt
- Will accept new patients without a health care provider once intake is completed
- Must have a valid Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) card
- Application Process
- Requires booked appointments; no walk-ins accepted
- No referral required for most services
- Registration to be a patient of the Capreol NPLC can be done by completing the intake form on website and submitting to clinic
