Women's After Care Services

Search Agency Service

  • Operates a residential or outpatient after care program for women who have completed treatment or recovery home program
  • Offers a 12 Step and holistic philosophy
  • Provides a residence with a 4 to 8 month stay in a cooperative living situation based on rent geared-to-income
  • Offers bilingual individual counselling as well as outpatient services
Provides individuals with life skills groups, including:
  • Anger Management in Recovery
  • Relationships in Recovery
  • Stage II Recovery Life Skills Group
Aboriginal Aftercare Program (KWE Keeping Women Empowered)
  • Provides aftercare support services for Indigenous women who have completed the women's treatment program
  • Counselling and support provided by Aboriginal Aftercare/Primary Counsellor to a maximum of two years
Outpatient Program
  • Women 16 years of age and older who have completed a treatment program or a recovery home program
  • Must be committed to recovery

Long-term Residential Program
  • Women 18 years of age and older who
  • Must be at least 21 days alcohol-free and/or 28 days drug-free and
  • Have completed a program for substance abuse and
  • Must be committed to recovery and to remain at the aftercare program for a minimum of four months
