Community Health Services
Prevention programs intended to improve the health and well being of First Nation peoples are available on the following topics:- Communicable disease control
- Maternal and child health care programs
- Chronic disease monitoring
- Care of the elderly
- School health programs
- Environmental health
Provides assistance with accessing and making arrangements for extended health benefits, including:- Dental care
- Medical transportation
- Medical equipment
- Medications
- Mental health counselling
- Short-term crisis intervention
- Vision care
- Eligibility
- Must be a registered Inuit and/or First Nation individual and reside in one of the communities served by the Sudbury Health Centre or within the catchment area

- Health Centre operates on a walk-in basis
- Most services are accessed on-reserve through visiting health professionals
- Services may vary in each community; call Health Centre to determine available services
