- Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements for community members
- Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community
- Provides transportation from/to Batchewana First Nation Reserves to medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist, specialist) in Sault Ste Marie and other communities
- Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation
- Eligibility
- Members of Batchewana First Nation who require medical transportation assistance due to age or disability
- Application Process
- Requires written proof of medical appointment
- Requires at least one week advance booking, prefers two weeks notice; exceptions made for emergencies
