- Provides counselling for youth who are in conflict with the law
Community Support Team- Provides intensive support and clinical intervention services to high-risk young offenders
- Helps youth reduce conflict with the law
- Decreases the probability of re-offending
- Facilitates reintegration from custody and detention back into the community
- Individual, family and group-based counselling and skills training
- Psychological and/or psychiatric assessment and consultation
- Community and professional consultation
- Referrals to other relevant community services
- Evidence-based treatment programs including services for youth who have been convicted of sexual offending and/or arson
- Eligibility
- Youth aged 12-17 years of age who are in conflict with the law and have been assessed by probation officers as being either medium or high risk
