- Provides treatment of substance abuse and mental health disorders through counselling, as well as a structured day treatment program
Offers the following services:- Individual, group and family counselling
- Academics within a classroom setting
- Life skills education, including independent living skills, social skills and interpersonal social skills instruction
- Access to community resources, including involvement in local employment, health and academic services
- Promotion of healthy active living, including drug education, art therapy, healthy alternative activities development as well as an individually focused, structured three times-weekly fitness program
- Adventure-based learning, which involves challenging youth to engage in healthy risk management in a wide range of group activities, such as rock climbing, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding, orienteering and outdoor survival training
- Individualized transition planning. in both academic and treatment components, to provide continued learning and support opportunities through local education and substance abuse treatment services

- Ongoing Intake is available for the Genesis Program, which offers rotations every 16 weeks, beginning in September
- Outpatient counselling is also provided in preparation for inclusion in an upcoming rotation
- Eligibility
- Dual-diagnosed adolescents aged 12 to 18 years old, as well as their families/caregivers, who are experiencing issues with concurrent substance use and mental health
