- Description
- Provides technical advisory services for each member community with respect to all aspects of community infrastructure and capital planning
- Assists with the initial costs and development of the Five Year Annual Minor Capital Plan
- Assists with minor and major infrastructure projects related to electrical, roads, water and sewer, and residential and community-owned buildings
- Includes assistance with completion of forms for consulting services, capital project applications, various Indian & Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) reporting requirements and a variety of project Terms of Reference
- Review of technical proposals, designs, cost estimates and specifications
- Tenders for construction projects
- Funding submissions
- Completion of progress and completion certificates
- Completing required documentation for project submissions
- Locating resources, labour, material, equipment, contractors and suppliers
- Attending project meetings, reviewing plans and doing site inspections
- Eligibility
- Must belong to one of the member First Nations within the Independent First Nations Alliance (IFNA)
