Description
  • Provides information on preventative dental health practices
  • Offers a dental screening program in schools
  • Conducts yearly surveys of school children's dental requirements to enhance existing programs and to determine gaps
  • Provides fluoride varnish to preschool children in child care programs, Best Start hubs and other community sites

Provides the following preventive services:
  • Cleaning teeth
  • Fluoride
  • Fluoride varnish
  • Sealants

Provides services to children enrolled in the Healthy Smiles Ontario program as described below

Healthy Smiles Ontario
  • Provides a government-funded dental program for children and youth from low-income households
  • Covers the cost of regular visits to a licensed dental care provider, such as a dentist or dental hygienist
  • Covers a full range of preventive dental services including check-ups, cleaning, fillings, x-rays, scaling and more
Hours of Operation
Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm * first Tue of month 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-8 pm
Eligibility
  • Must have no dental insurance and
  • Paying for these services would pose a financial hardship
