Description
Provides an urban First Nation elementary school
  • Offers a bilingual education program for JK/SK students for 2019/20 school year; approved and inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education
  • Provides classes for JK-Grade 3 for 2019/2020 school year
  • Will provide classes up to Grade 8 with a new grade added each year
  • Provides literacy and numeracy instruction in a choice of English, Anishinabe/Ojibway immersion or Cree immersion classes
  • Offers cultural and traditional teachings
  • Focus is on land-based, hands-on outdoor experiential learning

Special Education
  • Provides special education assistance for students with learning difficulties
  • Develops an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for each student with annual reviews
