Description
  • Provides educational services and supports to elementary, secondary and post-secondary school students living on reserve
  • Provides bus transportation for elementary and high school students attending schools in Nipigon

Secondary Education
  • Provides assistance, guidance and referrals to helps with academic issues
  • Maintains lists of students, addresses and schools attended
  • Coordinates bus schedules for regular school day and after-school activities
  • Provides information on community involvement hours to students about groups looking for volunteer assistance

Post Secondary Education
  • Offers assistance in contacting Seven Generations Education Institute who provides financial sponsorship support to post secondary students
  • Provides assistance for applying/filling out application forms for colleges and universities if required

Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm

Application Process
Student registration takes place two weeks prior to new school year commencement and requires parents to bring in the following:
  • Child's status number
  • Grade, teacher and name of the school the child will be attending
  • Emergency and alternate contact names and phone numbers for child
