  • Serves as a local fish and wildlife conservation organization
  • Operates as a member club of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters

Main conservation efforts include:
  • Improving, maintaining and enhancing fisheries and fishing opportunities
  • Advocacy on behalf of Ontario's licensed hunters and protection of their hunting heritage
  • Sound management of fish and wildlife and the lands and waters they inhabit

Local projects and initiatives include but are not limited to:
  • Archery nights held weekly at Open Roads School
  • Conservation Club Sports and Home Show held in April
  • Supports a local high school graduate with a bursary (Ed Burgstaler Award)
Current membership is 93 active members
