Mental Health and Addictions, Youth Outreach Worker Services

  • Provides a community-based intervention to assist youth living in at-risk neighbourhoods
  • Supports youth in their capacity to make healthy life choices
  • Works with other community programs and agencies to facilitate contacts and services for at-risk youth
  • Supports youth to find opportunities, solutions and resources to address their own social, behavioural, emotional, educational and employment needs

Outreach involves coordinated activities that motivate at-risk youth and their families to make positive life choices including:
  • Receiving and sharing information about their interests, concerns and needs
  • Providing relevant information
  • Guiding, mentoring and facilitating access to programs and services
  • Enabling positive community participation

Mon-Fri 11 am-6:30 pm
