Description
Administers a public on-reserve school for elementary and junior high school students
  • Offers a full curriculum for students from Junior Kindergarten (JK) to Grade 8; approved and inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education
  • Teaches Ojibway language as a subject course
  • Offers traditional activities such as smudging, drum-making, skirt-making and events such as ice fishing and hunting trips
  • Provides a daily breakfast program for students
  • Provides speech and language services
  • Offers a school gymnasium, library, computer lab and a kitchen facility
Special Education
  • Provides special education assistance for students with learning difficulties
  • Strives for maximum amount of integration with regular programs
