Description
  • Provides support services and delivery of early intervention services to individuals with early episode psychosis and their families
  • Early signs of psychosis may include delusions, hallucinations, disorganized thinking and/or bizarre behavior
  • Focus is on early intervention because delays in treatment, known as the "duration of untreated psychosis" (DUP) are extremely stressful for patients and their families
  • Strives to minimize the disruption in the lives of teens and young adults experiencing early psychosis so they can reintegrate and maintain educational, vocational, social and other roles

First Nation members and residents of the Weeneebayko region struggling with signs of early episode psychosis

Age Requirements: Ages: 16 year(s) - 34 year(s);
Application Process
  • Intake assessment required, by phone or walk-in
  • Clients are assessed on an individual basis; program will either provide
    treatment or refer the client to another more appropriate service
  • Referrals accepted from any source
