Description
Provides programs and services designed to meet the needs of individuals dealing with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and other disabilities that put them at-risk of additional challenges
  • Offers family drop in programs to build parenting skills and strengthen child and parent relationships
  • Offers pre/post natal care and traditional pregnancy workshops
  • Offers parenting programs and workshops

Kids Cooking Program
  • Assists and teaches children to prepare a healthy meal for the family during a 12 week after school program
  • Offers program twice yearly, dependant upon enrollment

Kids Back Pack Program
  • Provides nutritious food support for children who may not have access to basic necessities over the weekend
  • Provides easy to prepare meals which are available to the child and their siblings to take home
Eligibility
Off-reserve Indigenous individuals and families with children living with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)
Kids Cooking Program
  • Off-reserve Indigenous children 7 to 12 years of age
Kids Back Pack Program
  • Off-reserve Indigenous children 18 years of age and under and in need
  • Do not have to be enrolled in regular programs
Pre/post Natal Programs
  • Pre/post natal off-reserve Indigenous women and their partners
