Provides educational sessions, programs and services to prevent and reduce the adverse effects of potential environmental dangers

Administers the following programs:
  • ChooseWise
  • Food Safety
  • Health Hazard Investigation
  • Infection Control
  • Safe Water (drinking and recreational)
  • Sewage and Land Development
  • Special Occasion Food Permits
Emergency Response

Provides a 24-hour emergency line for reporting health hazards

Provides emergency preparedness checklists for use in individual's homes for the following:
  • Carbon monoxide poisoning
  • Caring for your baby during emergency
  • Community disaster/emergency
  • Food safety for emergency situations
  • Going home after a prolonged absence
  • Hypothermia
  • Water supplies
