Description
Offers a culturally sensitive high school satellite program
  • Offers individual, independent learning courses for students to complete at own pace
  • Provides courses in math, English, history, geography, science and business administration
  • Delivers program through partnership with Fort Frances High School and the Rainy River District School Board

Students are provided with:
  • Daily lunch
  • Extra curricular activities
  • Tutoring over and above regular classroom assistance

Students are required to:
  • Attend school 18 hours per week
  • Complete a minimum of two lessons per week
  • Participate in weekly student meetings
  • Participate in school activities and fundraising
Hours of Operation
Mon-Fri 9 am-3 pm, Sep-Jun
Eligibility
  • Anyone interested in completing high school accredited courses
  • Open to all with a focus on off-reserve Aboriginal peoples


Age Requirements: Ages: 18 year(s) and up;
Application Process
All students must make registration arrangements at Fort Frances High School; transcripts available from office at high school, if required for course
