Description
  • Operates a community-based, non-profit monthly fruit & vegetable distribution program that aims to improve access to good food by making quality, affordable, fresh produce available in neighborhoods across the city
  • Assists individuals with low or fixed incomes access fresh produce year round
  • Improves food access, improves nutrition, saves money, encourages community involvement and supports the local food system

Office Mon-Thu 9:30 am-5 pm; host site hours may vary
Eligibility
  • Primarily for individuals on a fixed or low income or who face barriers to accessing fresh food (mobility or financial barriers)
  • The Locally Grown Good Food Box (available in Jul-Nov) is for individuals who wish to support the regular good food box program and local food producers
Application Process
  • Contact the office to find a convenient host site to place an order
  • Place order at a host site by the 1st Thursday of the month and pick up order at the same host site on the 2nd last Thursday of the month

Service - Individual box is $15, family box is $25
