Helps people affected by emergencies and disasters in situations ranging from a house fire to a flood
  • Accepts financial donations that are used to assist in local, provincial, and international disasters and emergencies
  • Partners with the Fire Department and the Salvation Army to provide emergency food, shelter and clothing for up to 72 hours for family disasters such as house fires
  • Works in collaboration with local authorities and other agencies to address the immediate needs of individuals affected
  • Provides various online resources on emergency preparedness
  • Trains volunteers to respond to emergencies and disasters locally
