- Description
- Represents the community in lands and resources initiatives
- Liaises with all companies undertaking resource development in traditional Couchiching territory including mining developments, forestry projects and hydro electric power projects
- Participates in negotiations and agreements with resource developers to ensure Couchiching First Nation is fairly included in benefits
- Works with the Housing Department for allocation of land to Couchiching registered members that wish to build a home or cabin on Couchiching territorial land
