Kingfisher Lake First Nation
Worship Services and School for Ministry

  • Offers a place of worship in a Christian setting
  • Affiliated with the Anglican Church of Canada
  • Provides regular worship services and Sunday School class for all ages
  • Provides a weekly worship service conducted completely in the Oji-Cree language
  • Hosts annual summer bible camps for children at Big Beaver House Bible Camp

Dr William Winter School for Ministry
  • Provides training for Indigenous people for ministry in the Anglican faith (formerly known as "Train An Indigenous Priest TAIP")
  • Works with College of Emmanuel and St Chad from Saskatoon to deliver programs and provide instruction
  • Offers a Diploma in Indigenous Anglican Theology program (8 sessions)
  • Acts as continuing education for many current diocesan clergy
  • Delivers 2 annual, 14-day residential sessions; winter sessions held at Kingfisher Lake Mission House and summer sessions are at Big Beaver Bible Camp on Kingfisher Lake
