Description
  • Offers individual and family counselling
  • Coordinates mental health and addictions treatment services
  • Offers treatment referrals
  • Facilitates education and awareness sessions and presentations
Concurrent Disorders Group
  • Offers an ongoing open ended group to help bridge the gap between mental health and addictions treatment services
  • Provides treatment referrals
  • Provides a psycho-educational component and support through peer shared experience and group leader facilitation
Eligibility
Individuals 18 years of age and older
  • Individuals with concurrent substance disorders/gambling and a major psychiatric diagnosis
  • Individuals with a significant psychiatric problem whose substance use/gambling effects the course and treatment of the psychiatric disorder and life functioning
  • Must have a valid Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) Card
Application Process
Individuals must complete a referral and screening process to attend concurrent disorders group
