Seniors' Transportation Program

Provides door to door transportation for seniors to help them with various activities such as grocery shopping, medical appointments and social outings

NOTE: Vans are not equipped to accommodate wheelchairs
Hours of Operation
Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
  • Prospective clients must have cognitive or physical impairments which result in being unable to access the public transportation services (too far to walk/bus stairs too difficult)
  • Must not be able to drive themselves
  • Must not live in a long-term care facility
  • Must not have support from family members or friends to assist with appointments
  • Must be able to get in and out of the vehicle with minimal assistance
Note: Exceptions are made for individuals 55 years and older and are receiving dialysis or have an age related illness

Age Requirements: Ages: 60 year(s) and up;
Application Process
  • Eligibility assessment required, contact Transportation Coordinator to schedule
  • Transportation services must be booked a week in advance
